Active temperature sensing
Set a pan to 450°F to sear a steak, or 90°F to melt chocolate without blooming. Add stock or flip the steak, and Impulse’s proprietary temperature sensors respond instantly—keeping your temperature locked in. It’s like having a sous chef built into your stove.
Intuitive interface
Impulse feels as good as it cooks. Removable knobs provide precise control—without the frustration of touchscreens or buttons. They attach magnetically and lift off easily for quick cleaning or to disable the associated burner. LED light rings show exactly where heat is—and where it’s not.

Impulse is the first and only battery-integrated appliance in the U.S. certified to UL 858, the national safety standard for household electric ranges. The 30" and 36" Impulse Cooktops deliver identical performance: four 9-inch burners pushing up to 10 kW each, with active temperature sensing and a 3 kWh integrated battery. The only difference is the cutout they fit. Choose your size, not your specs.
We are committed to providing a customer experience we can be proud of. We offer a “retrieve and replace” warranty service. Should any issue arise, we will organize a pickup of your cooktop and replace it with a brand new one. The old unit will be returned to us for analysis to understand the root cause. This service is covered under a manufacturer’s 3-year warranty. Additionally, if you are unsatisfied with your order, we accept returns. See our terms and conditions for more information.

The cooktop’s integrated battery hangs 6.5" below the counter surface requires some clearance and ventilation beneath it, which limits the types of ovens that can be installed directly below.
In general, most 24" ovens fit comfortably below the cooktop, while some 30" models also meet the clearance and ventilation requirements.
