Built Different
We didn’t improve induction cooking. We rebuilt it.
Most induction stoves source their internals from the same few suppliers. The nameplate changes. The architecture, the limitations, and the compromises don’t.
Impulse redesigned the entire induction technology stack from the ground up — for unprecedented power, precise control, and a fundamentally better cooking experience.

Induction stoves are limited by your home's wiring. A 120V outlet maxes out at ~1,800W. Even a 240V range tops out at 3,700W per burner — that's the ceiling the grid sets.
Impulse
A 3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery lets Impulse deliver 10,000W to the burner — more than any other stove on the market — from a standard 120V outlet.
No discrete power levels

Other induction stoves force you into fixed steps — 1 to 9 or 1 to 20. The right setting for what you're cooking almost never lands on a whole number. Even stoves with physical knobs are just selecting between presets.

The electrical grid operates at an audible frequency, and most induction stoves transmit it straight through the cookware. Below medium-high, most stoves also pulse power on and off to hold lower settings, producing an audible click every second or two.

Impulse runs on an integrated battery. Off the grid, there's no mains frequency to transmit — no whine. And because we don't pulse power, there's no clicking at low settings either.

Milk chocolate tempers at a working temperature of 84–86°F. Go above it and you start over. Impulse holds it there automatically — no double boiler, no thermometer.

Set your target temperature and cover. Impulse holds the pan at exactly 135°F until your steak is a perfect medium-rare edge to edge. Sear for a perfect finish.

The Impulse Cooktop delivers 10,000W per burner — the equivalent of 72,000 BTU/h. That is more power than any other induction or gas cooktop on the market.
Impulse runs on a standard 120V/15A outlet — the same outlet your phone charger uses. You can also connect to a 240V circuit. Either way, you get full 10,000W performance thanks to the integrated battery.
Not for the standard 120V installation. Just plug it in. A 240V installation is comparable to a standard electric cooktop and may require an electrician depending on your setup.
If a magnet sticks to the bottom of your pot or pan, it will work with Impulse. Not sure? The magnetic knobs double as a quick test.
You set an exact temperature and the cooktop automatically adjusts power to hold it — just like an oven, but on the stovetop. Impulse maintains temperature to within 1°F from 68°F to 482°F.
The integrated 3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery keeps the cooktop running. On a full charge, it can power at least three full meals with no grid connection.
Impulse includes a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty with “retrieve and replace” service — if something goes wrong, we pick it up and send you a new one. The battery carries a separate 10-year warranty at 70% capacity.
